Welcome to Connect the Classroom (CTC), a DfE-funded initiative designed to empower schools across the UK with cutting-edge network infrastructure. CTC builds upon the success of previous broadband schemes, namely Rural Gigabit Connectivity (RGC) and Local Full Fibre Network (LFFN), to ensure schools have the best possible Wi-Fi capabilities. When your school is approved for the program, you gain access to a dedicated funding budget. This financial support covers the procurement and ongoing maintenance of Wi-Fi and local network equipment, raising your network to the DfE's wifi6 standard.
Navigating the CTC documentation can be complex, but with Everything ICT (EICT), you're in capable hands. We assist with form completion, supplier management, and streamline the entire process having already helped over 450 schools secure £32m+ in funding during the program's first two phases.
